A little about me:
I have been an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at St. Edward's University since the Fall of 2006.
Before this position, I held a Visiting Research Assistant Professorship/VIGRE postdoc at the University of California, Davis.
My research interests are Low-Dimensional Topology and Knot Theory.
I am an alumna of Rice University (Ph.D., 2004, Thesis Advisor: Tim Cochran), of the
University of Dallas (B.S., 1999), and of Alvin High School
(1995). I have one little boy, Noah, who was born in May 2007. In my precious spare time I enjoy travelling, cooking, bicycling, rock
climbing, craft projects, digital photography, and spending time with my family and friends.
