I am an associate professor of Communication at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas where I teach social media, interactive media, PR, interpersonal communication, research methods, and persuasion. I also serve as the Communication Department area coordinator and the PRSSA chapter advisor. I am fascinated by the Internet and have been studying computer-mediated communication and online relational development since the beginning of my doctoral studies at the Pennsylvania State University. My current research interests include social media, communication pedagogy, and visual communication.
