b. The gift of free will entails the right to be able to choose evil.

Three strands on suffering in the Bible:

a. suffering is a punishment for bad behavior (desert)

b. suffering is a test of virtue (Job)

c. God will eventually establish a kingdom of peace.

3. The problem of heaven:

a. Does free will disappear there?

b. Will the choice for evil be a game in heaven?
