My Hobby is...music!



Music is one of the greatest things on
earth. It can produce any emotion with
just a few words or a few chords. Music
entertains and can create an escape. Everyone
likes music. Seriously. Have you every met someone
who acutally doesn't like any music? No, of course
not. It is a universal language. Even if it's in
a foregin language, people can still hear it and
enjoy it. But mainly music means something
different to every person.

For me the best sounding music in the world is rock
music, but specifically hardcore/screamo/emo msuic. Exactly pin pointing my favorite band is impossible, just like for most people, but I can pick out my top three favorite bands. Underoath and Brand New tie for first place, and in a close second is blink 182. As anyone with some current music knowledge can tell from these three bands, my tastes are everywhere. But that's me!

Listening to music at home on your iPod, in your
car, or on your computer is one thing. But going to see one of your favorite bands live is a whole different thing. When you're crammed in the pit with other people that love that band just as much as you do and the singer is stand over you on the stage, it's a feeling like no other. However some bands are better live than others. OK Go is one of the best bands I have ever seen live. They intereact with the crowd, and at the end of every show, they perform a choreographed dance to a song of theirs. At one show, the leader singer, Damian, asked a girl in the pit to buy him and the band a round shots, and she did! I've seen them live atleast six times, and it's better every show.
