For this assignment you are to either create a new website or revise an existing website (for yourself, a friend, a simple business, or a subject/hobby/passion). The website must be compliant with XHTML Strict 1.0, and include a validation image and referer at the bottom of the page, similar to the one at the bottom of this page. Your site must include at least 1 image (beyond an XHTML 1.0 Strict image), and you must have a style sheet for the presentation of the page. The content, theme, subject matter of the website is your choice. The page must have at least 2 relevant links and must fill up a standard web page, approximately 800 by 640 pixels. (In other words you must have more than a simple hello message.)
Once your page is completed, send me an email with the complete url of your page so that I can grade it. You may place your page on edshare under the public_html directory if you choose to. Nothing inappropriate - see the St. Edward's technology and computing policy if you have questions on what is allowed on the site. You will be graded on the presentation, content, readabilty, and adherence to xhtml strict 1.0 standard. Your xhtml source code must be neatly aligned and easy to read, I suggest NOT using any sort of tool such as front page or dreamweaver, rather code it by hand so you can understand the tags.
