Some Information
In case you landed here to find out about me, I am Dr. M. Jean McKemie,
a Professor in the Mathematics Department
of St. Edward's
University .
I am also a member of the Mathematics/Computer Sciences Division of the
Council on Undergraduate Research CUR ;
a member of the American Mathematical
Society, Association of Women in Mathematics , also Sigma Xi,
and the Mathematical Association of America.
I live on a farm, and in the summers, as well as doing mathematics

What I Do Mathematically
In case you didn't know, there is a whole lot of mathematics research going on these days. New and exciting things are discovered all the time, even though it rarely makes the local news. I, too, am always working on something new. St. Ed's is an undergraduate institution, so
I look at all sorts of things with my undergraduate students. Click

My own research has been in the area of Complex Analysis, and
more precisely, in the area of quasiconformal (and related) mappings.
