The top two photos were
scanned directly from the original tin types which measured less than 2
inches tall.
The photo of William T Murphy was photographically copied from the
original tin type and the resulting negative was scanned in a film
scanner. The original was in very poor condition.
The bottom right photo of Emanuel Jones was scanned from the original
negative, which was in very good condition considering its age. |
