Singing, songwriting, and performing have been passions of mine since I was a little girl. At the age of six I was imitating Aretha Franklin songs and making up dance routines to commercials on the telivision. I began writing songs around the age of eleven. At a young age, I took every oppertunity to perform: I was in all the school talent shows, open mic nights, benefit concerts and anything else I could find. I loved performing then just as much as I do now.

After my freshman year of high school in Durango, Colorado, I decided to attend a boarding school in Pebble Beach, California. The oppertunities in Durango were limited and I felt as though the town were holding me back. After researching many boarding schools all over the country, I decided on Stevenson in Pebble Beach: a beautiful school with a highly recognized performing arts program. Looking back, the decision to leave for California was the one of the best and most important decisions of my life. Stevenson helped me to develop my talents.

Many artists such as The Beatles, Ben Harper, Coldplay, Kate Nash, and Adele have helped to inspire me as both a songwriter and a performer. I admire a large variety of artists, which helps me to pick and choose different musical aspects from many different genres and mold them to create my own style. My dream is to be able to share my music with the world and hopefully inspire others similar to myself.
