From Key West to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, my hometown, is only about 140 miles. Therefore, ever since I was born, during the summer, my family and I would visit Key West. It is a very magical place. I have so many memories of the fabulous Key West sunset, walking down an Old Town lane and smelling the jasmine, or singing along downtown to a popular duo at one of the restaurant/bars on Duval Street. It has a small town feel which makes it even more popular.
