Its important to always test your webpages in multiple browsers as there are many differences on how each browser might interpret the HTML code. Dreamweaver allows you to preview your page in a browser of choice with an easy keystroke. Dreamweaver also allows you to add and delete browsers as well as to set any browser as the primary browser.

Review your settings for Preview in Browser by navigating to Edit -> Preferences.
1. Click on Preview in Browser under the category list in the dialog box. This will open the preview in browser settings.

2. Add new web browsers, in which you would like to test view your web pages by clicking on the Plus (+) button.
Note: Dreamweaver has Internet Explorer (F 12) as the default preview browser. You can change this by clicking the plus button and selecting other web browsers such as Safari, or Firefox.
3. Select which web browser you would like to set as your primary browser to test view your web pages by clicking on the checkbox named Primary Browser.
4. Once you are happy with your selections, click the OK button.

In the Design Window there are multiple ways to Preview in Browser.
1. Select a shortcut key for your primary and secondary browsers, this can be set in the preferences but most likely will be F12 for the primary browser and CTRL + F12 (Windows) or Command + F12 (Mac) for the secondary browser.
2. At the top of the Design Window on the Document Toolbar there is also a Preview in Browser tool, by clicking the drop down menu any of the browsers set up previously can be chosen. (Pictured Right)

3. Navigate to File -> Preview in Browser and choose an appropriate browser.
Always test your webpages in multiple browsers as there are many differences on how each browser might interpret the HTML code.

If using another editor you can always preview your html documents from the browser itself by opening the page in the browser.
1. In Firefox, navigate to File -> Open File
2. Choose the location where all your html documents are saved and pick which document you would like to preview.
